Global Trade Technical Product Owner (TPO)

As a Global Trade Technical Product Owner, you will lead technology product ownership and roadmap development for Global Trade products aligned with business objectives. You'll collaborate with Domain Leads, Solution Leads, Architects, and Data teams to design, build, and sustain capabilities. Our team is customer-focused, ensuring every decision starts and ends with the customer.

Work Model: Hybrid role requiring 3–4 days onsite in New Brunswick, NJ or a Cognizant office. Flexibility and work-life balance are supported through wellbeing programs. Schedule may vary based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define product vision and roadmap; prioritize backlog and translate requirements into user stories.
  • Balance business value with technical feasibility; optimize cost and delivery efficiency.
  • Act as "voice of the customer" and ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage team resourcing, onboarding, and coaching; lead ceremonies and release planning.
  • Collaborate across squads, drive reporting and analytics, and manage documentation.
  • Engage third parties and act as Technical Point of Contact for licensed systems.
  • Continuously improve product lifecycle using feedback and metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Global Trade Compliance practices and technology.
  • Experience in product development, backlog management, and Agile delivery.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, customer experience, and SDLC.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Foundational knowledge in Data Engineering and Interface Mapping.

These will help you stand out: Knowledge of JIRA, Roadmunk, and training in Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Emerging Tech.
