Lead Product Manager II

As a Lead Product Manager II, you will make an impact by owning the successful delivery of new releases. You will be a valued member of the TriZetto team and work collaboratively with management and team members.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage assigned staff including hiring, performance and salary management, resolving issues, addressing disciplinary actions and recommending dismissals (as warranted), and interpreting and ensuring compliance with related policies and procedures.
  • Own the successful delivery of new releases through initiative ideation, development, beta and launch.
  • Evangelize the value of our core product to both internal stakeholders and externally to prospective and existing customers at events.
  • Understand customer requirements and pain points and assist in defining solutions through product features & enhancements. Lead customer discussions and demonstrations for product, features, integrations, new sales etc.
  • Monitor and manage successful delivery of features defined in the product roadmap with respective teams throughout the development life cycle; work to identify risks and remove impediments; discover opportunities for improvement and keep senior management and others informed.
  • Creating roadmaps and presenting to prospects and internal customers.
  • Negotiating customer requests, both internal and external, industry and marketplace changes and company strategic initiatives to manage product development capacity or services expansion to meet customers' needs and the company's strategic vision.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Teaneck, NJ.

What you need to have to be considered:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Advertising or Statistics. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in product management in the software/healthcare/Life Science industry. Experience in a management role preferred.
  • Agile methodology: Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a focus on iterative and incremental delivery.
  • Working knowledge of the product development stages and process and the technologies involved in web development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Application will be accepted until October 30, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $132,000- $155,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
