Senior Consultant – Product Management

As a Senior Consultant – Product Management, you will make an impact by establishing and leading the Product Management function for the organization. You will be a valued member of our consulting team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, marketing, sales, and leadership teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and formalize Product Manager and Product Owner responsibilities.
  • Implement a standardized Product Lifecycle process, covering phases such as Discovery, Planning, Development, Launch, and Iteration.
  • Integrate customer research and feedback loops into product development.
  • Introduce methods to evaluate and prioritize initiatives that deliver maximum business value.
  • Build strong communication channels between product, engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams.
  • Establish success metrics for products and the product management function.
  • Select and configure Product Management tools and technologies to automate core processes.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 10+ years of extensive Product Management experience, including managing multiple products across an organization.
  • Prior experience setting up a Product Management function is highly desirable.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to gain alignment across diverse teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Product Management tools such as Aha, ProductPlan, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, computer science, or economics; MBA is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until December 23, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $92,000 - $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
