Marketing Data Analyst
The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, defining, generating, and communicating the metrics that are the foundation to our marketing objectives. This role works in partnership with the Global Campaigns and Digital team(s) to increase the effectiveness of global marketing operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides cross-functional support, with a high attention to detail while defining and measuring KPIs, key marketing, web, and demand generation metrics
- Researches, analyzes, and documents findings
- May influence others within the Marketing team through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices
- Builds, communicates, and maintains a suite of dashboards, BI applications, standardized and native reports
- Collects and organizes information required to run campaigns from the backend/reporting KPIs view ensuring quality data, attribution, and conversion rates
- Supports end to end view of marketing performance
- Regular analysis of campaign data to identify patterns that lead to higher conversion rates, average deal size, and increased velocity
- Supports the team cross-functionally with special projects around data quality, data enrichment, and data analysis
- Serves as subject matter expert to the marketing team on data trends innovation and trends that affect our partners
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- Works independently on projects and processes with general supervision
- Possesses a practical knowledge of Marketing strategies
- Has ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per department requirement
- Strong experience with applied data querying languages, BI/visualization tools
- Ability to manage data on a tactical basis, while also delivering strategic insights and direction
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- Bachelor's degree required in related field or equivalent business experience
- 2+ years of experience
- Preferred: Experience with data management for B2B marketing or sales team
- Preferred: Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, PowerBI, SQL
Working Conditions:
- Remote or hybrid depending on location
- 0-10% travel may be required
