Vice President Product, Enterprise Claims

The Vice President of Product-Enterprise Claims, is responsible for leading the management and execution of our Enterprise Claims product throughout the product/solution lifecycle. CorVel's corporate claims strategic goals, and the respective industry needs are baseline for efforts and results. Expertise in the P&C claims, with a strong tactical and technical understanding of the leading efforts in cost containment industry wide and required to actively grow respective product, in turn, increase revenue and client satisfaction.

This is a remote position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow product relationships throughout Enterprise Claims, including but not limited to, corporate marketing, IT, regional offices, external clients, and all AE and AM team
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and leadership across claims in a timely manner
  • Successful completion of cost effective, strategic project opportunities is imperative
  • Able to plan, develop, define requirements, produce cost benefit analysis, and launch project within scheduled and committed time frames
  • Functions as a Thought Leader in product development processes, product/solution areas, competitor offerings, and customer needs
  • Presses for continuous improvement in a "learn and do" approach
  • Shapes products to enhance client values and experience
  • Lead in the integration of complex business factors and implement long-term strategic claims or market segment objectives
  • Uncovers strategic issues/solutions from a scientific/technical perspective
  • Interfaces with key leadership and functional experts providing insight and advice on Business Process Improvement approaches to strategic business challenges
  • Consolidates & manage program & industry documentation
  • Builds external partnerships with customers and industry experts to discuss industry information & trends
  • Manages multiple projects, priority setting, and committed schedules
  • Produces content for training AE and AM teams including market differentiation, benchmarking, ETC
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program ("IIPP"), as well as HIPAA regulations
  • Additional duties as required

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Must be strong communicator and able to act as thought leader at industry conferences and publications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, complex problem solving skills, drive for concrete results, innovative
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and modeling ability and distilling data into actionable results
  • Superb attention to detail and ability to deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Very comfortable with ambiguity and in working in a very cross functional role
  • P&C claims experience required, Technology industry experience considered a plus
  • Capable of demonstrating and leading communication efforts using, Microsoft products (SharePoint, Lync, live meeting, Office suite)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Four year degree at an accredited college or university, preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of educations and work experience

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $138,041 – $230,094
