Description

Essential Job Functions

  • Describe the product with understanding of users and use, and develop a product that serves both.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the entire organization, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements, specifications and acceptance criteria to users.
  • Inspect and oversee product progress during entire development process.
  • Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation.
  • Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team. Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations.
  • Manages vendor communication and product offering.
  • Provide user support and training on the product. Assist with client implementation and WMS site implementation.
  • Project management, as needed.
  • Communicate with users and leadership regarding application changes.
  • Handle support escalations and failures.
  • Ensure support processes are documented and staffing is following documented processes.
  • Assist in ensuring support SLAs are met.
  • Support sales calls and process as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Skills & Abilities

  • Must possess good communication skills with the ability to be assertive.
  • Extensive experience in working with end users to elicit and document business requirements.
  • Experience setting up test scenarios.
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, including solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications.
  • Strong teamwork skills in a small local setting, as well as across different geographic locations.
  • Strong organization skills with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Visio and backlog management tools.
  • Able to drive short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goals.
  • Expert knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Effective listening skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience working with software application maintenance and development preferably with an e-commerce company.
  • Logistics and/or WMS experience preferred.
  • Softeon WMS experience preferred.

Certification and Licenses

  • Agile Scrum certifications preferred.
  • Professional certification is not required in this position.
