Your day to day includes:
Participate in marketing and revenue meetings.
Proactively look for current digital/social trends and industry developments to grow the business and identify partnerships for the business to explore.
Live the company winning ways in the digital marketing business activities.
Work collaboratively with our people to achieve mutual goals of the hotel.
Build and manage relationships with third-party digital vendors and partners.
Develop and maintain great working relationships with key clients and outside contacts to increase revenue.
Ensure all assigned tasks/project deadlines are met.
Financial responsibilities include:
Develop an effective content strategy to drive online business and improve conversion rates through a better online experience.
Drive brand web revenue by increasing page views and time spent on the page.
Review channel performance and highlight risks and opportunities.
Merchandise IHG global/regional campaigns.
Guest experience tasks include:
Support subscribing hotels to ensure all content and images are up to date on Hotel Content Manager (HCM), consistent across all local channels and partner websites.
Support subscribing hotels to adopt new IHG tools and systems that benefit the guests from an operational or marketing perspective.
Support subscribing hotels with best practices in monitoring and managing content marketing through digital channels.
Responsible business duties include:
Support subscribing hotels on the advocacy of data stewardship.
Support subscribing hotels to manage and grow their databases in line with IHG privacy guidelines.
Ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done.
Accountability:
This is a digital marketing job in a large, luxury, resort, or major flagship hotel. The hotel may have multiple sites and facilities, high-volume catering and/or convention facilities, and a large number of VIP and special service guests.
What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in marketing or related field.
Minimum 4 or more years of experience in a hospitality marketing, in-house digital departments or marketing/advertising agencies.
Must be detail and deadline-oriented, communicative, able to multi-task on projects requiring differing skills sets, while maintaining high standards of work on a tight schedule in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of local online consumer behaviors, e-commerce and digital trends.
Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required.
Digitally savvy with Content Management Systems, e-commerce operations & SEO.
