Marketing and Communications Stage – Rome

As Marketing and Communications Stage, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Duties and Responsibilities

At Six Senses Rome, we are dedicated to delivering meaningful experiences that connect our guests with themselves, others, and the world around them. We're looking for a creative, curious, and proactive intern to join our Marketing & Communications team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to branding, content creation, communications, and visual storytelling within a luxury hospitality environment — with a particular focus on design-driven contributions.

You'll support the team across a variety of touchpoints — from social media and design execution to event support, PR assets, and internal marketing needs. If you're passionate about aesthetics, culture, and sustainability, and have a strong eye for design and communication, this could be your place.

As Marketing and Communications Stage, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

1. Strategic Marketing Support

- Support the preparation and structuring of the property's marketing plan and calendar.

- Conduct benchmarking and competitor analysis (locally and internationally).

- Assist in the collection and analysis of market trends, consumer habits, and brand opportunities.

- Monitor key dates, citywide events, and trends to support proactive marketing planning.

- Help compile performance recaps of marketing activations and campaigns.

2. Design & Visual Content

- Support the creation and adaptation of visual materials such as flyers, menus, printed brochures, internal signage, social assets, presentations, and guest-facing communication.

- Assist with basic layout design for print and digital touchpoints (knowledge of Adobe/Canva required).

- Organize and maintain the property's image and video archive, selecting visuals for communication tools.

3. Social Media & Content

- Help in curating and scheduling social content in line with brand tone and property events.

- Assist in capturing on-property moments (photo/video) for digital use.

- Support the writing of short captions, newsletters, and content pieces together with the Brand Content executive.

4. PR & Communication Support

- Assist with media monitoring, press clippings, and documentation of PR activities.

- Help prepare press kits, presentations, and event communication materials.

- Support influencer logistics and coordination.

5. Event & Operational Marketing

- Provide hands-on support during guest experiences, media stays, and marketing activations.

- Assist with set-up and breakdown of events, brand installations, or creative workshops.

6. Internal Communications

- Help keep internal boards, slides, and team assets up to date.

- Prepare host-focused materials aligned with the Six Senses voice.

To execute the position of Sales & Events Stage, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent in a Hospitality, Marketing, Hotel or Business Management Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

  • Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I have social media channel management experience. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English and some knowledge of the local language and customs.

  • Fluent in Italian and English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.

  • Eligible to work in Italy.
