Marketing Executive

At Continental Plaza Beach Resort - Sharm El Sheikh, soon to be rebranded as Holiday Inn Resort Sharm El Sheikh, we believe in creating a welcoming atmosphere where our guests feel cared for and our colleagues are empowered to deliver memorable experiences.

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to elevate the brand presence of Continental Plaza Beach Resort. Based in our Cairo office, you will be responsible for executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, managing our social media footprint, and creating compelling content that showcases the beauty and luxury of our Sharm El Sheikh property to both local and international audiences.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different at IHG, but you'll mostly be:

  • Handling daily correspondence/financial documents such as purchase order, expenses claim, etc.
  • Handling all agencies/vendors invoices and acting as point of contact for billing matters.
  • Assisting Director of Sales & Marketing in creating and implementing all Marketing activities, including but not limited to:
    • Creation and print of collateral
    • Promotions and packages
    • Advertising
    • Market analysis
    • Photo-shootings
  • Maintaining hotel listings in online and offline media.
  • Handling site inspection.
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing direct marketing, both on- and offline.
  • Maintaining guest database for mailings.
  • Liaise with F&B department to promote F&B outlets.
  • Assisting in the creation of the media and marketing plan.
  • Conducting competition checks and benchmarking on a regular basis.
  • Creating office presentations.
  • Creating, coordinating and maintaining give-aways and collateral.
  • Uploading and maintaining picture storage and distribution systems (Picture Park & VFMLeonardo).
  • Providing content and images for websites according to Corporate Identity.
  • Ensuring content and photography of third party websites is maintained.
  • Ensuring compliance with Corporate Identity guidelines.
  • Maintaining updates of corporate marketing guidelines and informing colleagues.
  • Attending marketing relevant meetings.
  • Playing support role in developing hotel Marketing budget and updating budget figures periodically.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal departments, especially sales, Public Relations and web as well as creative agencies and suppliers.
  • Keeping themselves updated with the latest developments in the hotel including all activities, promotions, rates of the hotel.
  • Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

What we need from you:

  • Experience: 2+ years of marketing experience, specifically within the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Digital Proficiency: Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, Meta Ads Manager, and basic SEO principles.
  • Creative Skills: Proficiency in basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) and mobile video editing apps (e.g., CapCut).
  • Communication: Exceptional writing skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to craft "storytelling" captions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work from the Cairo office while being flexible enough to travel to Sharm El Sheikh for content shoots.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), or a related field.
