CVS Media Exchange (CMX) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, agencies, and Pharma clients. Our full-funnel ad solutions leverage CVS's in-store and online data, extensive reach, and unique positioning in the pharmacy and provider space to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service, these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers.
As Director of Onsite and Instore, you will lead and be responsible for building best-in-class ad solutions across our owned & operated properties, enabling advertisers to activate with speed, flexibility, and precision. You'll build scalable, automated solutions that extend CMX into our owned channels and enable advertisers to activate with speed and precision, while ensuring compliance with privacy, data governance, and enterprise standards.
This role partners closely with Engineering, UX, Data Science, Partnerships, Legal, and Commercial teams to deliver high‑impact, advertiser-facing products and accelerate growth across CMX's fastest‑expanding activation channels.
You will build and manage the onsite and instore product roadmap, align business and technical needs, and serve as the "voice of activation and platform product" with stakeholders to ensure customer and enterprise needs are met.
Strategic & Product Leadership
Define product vision and roadmap for our onsite and instore products
Use CVS first‑party data, identity, and measurement assets to differentiate CMX across our web and app experience.
Lead product discovery, build business cases, and prioritize high‑impact enhancements.
Work across the CPG and Pharma categories to define ad products that differentiate
Champion modular architecture, automation, and scalable platform design.
Manage full lifecycle delivery—discovery through adoption—for display, sponsored products/brand, delivery marketplaces.
Develop new solutions for instore, while enhancing the current products.
Translate customer and campaign insights into actionable initiatives.
Oversee rollout plans, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
Partner with GTM and Ops teams to refine usability and drive adoption.
Build strong relationships with Partnerships, Engineering, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
Ensure privacy‑safe data usage in collaboration with Legal and Privacy teams.
Integrate closed-loop measurement and optimization with Data Science and Measurement teams.
Evaluate and manage platform integrations with partnerships and procurement.
Define and track key metrics for adoption, revenue, efficiency, and performance.
Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and testing.
Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, customer‑centricity, and excellence.
Stay current on search, onsite display, pharma, video trends
Assess new partners and platforms to strengthen CMX's ecosystem.
Represent CMX externally as a subject-matter expert.
Demonstrated familiarity with modern advertising platform to enhance our onsite product to be best in market

8+ years in Product Management in retail media, AdTech, programmatic, or social platforms. Proven ownership of complex platform roadmaps. Strong storytelling, business case development, and cross‑functional leadership
Expertise in onsite ad environments
Experience with privacy, legal, and compliance collaboration
5+ years' people leadership experience
Experience building onsite AdTech and ad delivery platforms
Knowledge of identity, clean rooms, data collaboration
Executive‑level influencing skills
Agile and test‑and‑learn mindset
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, data science, information systems) or equivalent experience (HS Diploma + 4 yrs experience) required.
MBA or Master's degree preferred.
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
