Executive Director, Head Of Product, Cmx

The Executive Director, Head of Product, CMX will lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for CMX, CVS Health's Retail Media Network. Reporting to the VP/GM, CMX, this role is accountable for building and scaling customer-centric, high-impact advertising products that deliver measurable value for advertisers, customers, and the enterprise.

As a senior product leader, this individual will lead empowered, outcome-oriented product teams and partner closely with Engineering and Design as part of the product creators' team. The Executive Director will balance strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring disciplined prioritization, efficient execution, and on-time go-to-market delivery across the CMX product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate and communicate a compelling product vision and clear strategy, aligning teams around a shared roadmap that delivers customer-centric solutions and measurable business outcomes.
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing product teams aligned to a product-oriented operating model, with a strong focus on outcomes and customer advocacy.
  • Own product value, viability, and success, integrating engineering and design expertise throughout product and feature discovery, definition, and delivery.
  • Drive ongoing prioritization of initiatives, resources, and investment to maximize impact and accelerate time-to-value, in close partnership with stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to business operations, guiding priorities and trade-offs to ensure product initiatives align with broader business objectives and deliver differentiated value.
  • Foster a culture of continuous discovery, experimentation, and evidence-based decision-making across product teams.
  • Maintain accountability for successful delivery of products and features that provide an exceptional end-to-end customer experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs through collaboration with business operations and customer insights teams, as well as direct customer engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in software product management, with demonstrated success delivering large-scale consumer or B2B digital advertising products.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling large, complex product organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmaps across enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Strong track record of partnering with engineering and design leaders to deliver customer-centric products that balance innovation, feasibility, and business value.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to leverage data and customer insights to inform prioritization, measure outcomes, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (in-office Tuesday and Wednesday).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
