Sr. Marketing Manager, Medicare Acquisition Marketing

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Medicare Acquisition Marketing will support the development and execution of cross-channel marketing programs with the goal of acquiring new members.

This individual will support the lead director in strategy development, and tactical planning of successful marketing initiatives and tactics, managing cross-functional workflows and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Acquisition Marketing team in the end-to-end process of developing and executing performance-driven campaigns for Aetna, with a focus on the Medicare Advantage product line
  • Supporting growth by working cross-functionally with internal and external partners to execute and manage tactics that deliver on acquisition goals
  • Supporting briefing process for internal Aetna teams and external creative/media agencies, from brief creation to project kick-off and plan/asset development
  • Developing knowledge of the Medicare industry and of the advertising/digital landscapes, using that knowledge to provide recommendations to the Acquisition Marketing leadership team that inform strategy
  • Managing copy review process, working with compliance, legal, and Brand teams to ensure consumer-facing language is streamlined and impactful, while compliant with CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services), Brand and Privacy regulations
  • Collaborating with Project Management, Marketing/Campaign Ops, Paid Media, and Digital Strategy teams to ensure timelines are met and all required marketing assets are delivered for successful campaign execution
  • Reviewing creative concepts and proofs to ensure alignment with strategic imperatives
  • Partnering agencies to ensure briefs are followed, timelines are created, and deadlines are met
  • Working with Enterprise Intelligence team to identify and execute consumer research needs
  • Collaborating with Analytics to develop audience segments for digital and offline targeting, and to manage learning agenda
  • Actively managing and executing marketing calendar, plans and programs to implement all elements of the marketing mix
  • Compiling and documenting insights derived from first-party and syndicated sources to identify opportunities based on consumer behavior, competitor actions, and industry trends
  • Working with Marketing Coordinators on URLs and phone numbers assignments

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing, Agencies or Consulting roles, preferably managing performance marketing initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Direct-to-Consumer online and offline marketing, ideally with some experience of B2B
  • History of supporting campaigns that deliver growth through continuous tracking and optimizations
  • Ability to bring together analytics and creativity to drive results
  • Highly communicative team player, adjusts to working style/needs of others to establish strong relationships
  • Healthcare, Provider or Medicare experience is a plus, not required
  • Strong strategic, critical thinking, and conceptual abilities; ability to contribute to strategic planning discussions
  • Strong tactical execution skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Ability to influence others, work effectively in a matrix environment, and interact with all levels of the organization

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range: $90,480.00 - $199,144.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
