Position Summary
Contributes to the dental Medicare product portfolio, conducting market analysis and driving new product development. Provides expertise and thought leadership, contributing to strategic planning, market research, and cross-functional collaboration. Drives innovation, evaluates performance, and ensures regulatory compliance, playing a pivotal role in guiding the organization's growth and success. Ensures accurate administration and management of all dental plans
**This position is remote anywhere within the United States, East or Central time zones preferred.
What you will do:
- Defines requirements and multi-year roadmaps across multiple products/offerings, incorporating customer and stakeholder feedback into portfolio strategy.
- Leads an annual competitive analysis to benchmark competitor plan designs in targeted markets against our offerings using a variety of internal and external sources.
- Creates annual competitive insights slide deck and presents findings to senior leadership, market leaders, Actuarial, Network, the product team, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Analyzes and monitors legislative, industry and competitive developments throughout the year by reviewing relevant research and publications; summarizes key developments for internal partners.
- In partnership with the manager and the Medicare Strategy team, translates competitive and market insights into product portfolio recommendations for the upcoming plan year.
- Collaborates with Actuarial to share plan options and assumptions, obtain pricing estimates and impact analyses, and incorporate results into final portfolio recommendations.
- Develops clear recommendation materials (including slides) and presents proposals to Medicare leadership and cross-functional forums (e.g., product concept, operational feasibility, Stars, and member experience) as needed.
- Performs data analysis using claims, membership, and other operational datasets to identify trends, quantify opportunities/risks, and inform product decisions.
- Defines reporting requirements, key metrics/KPIs, and recurring dashboards to monitor product performance, competitive position, and membership outcomes.
- Synthesizes large and complex datasets into clear insights, implications, and recommendations for senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partners with the Group team to understand market needs and incorporate requirements into new and enhanced product designs.
- Supports the Bid Cycle to finalize approved product/plan offerings and collaborates with cross-functional partners to implement new and updated products.
- Serves as a subject matter expert within product management and development, applying deep functional knowledge to execute complex departmental work and to provide support to other areas.
- Prepares and delivers presentations and written updates to markets and enterprise partners as needed.
- Provides guidance to develop policies and procedures to ensure effective implementation and administration of all plans.
- Monitors plan administration to ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable requirements.
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiencies, and cost savings.
- Will have crossover with vision Medicare product
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years' work experience in product, strategy, or related field
- Healthcare industry, preferably managed care
- Strong executive-level presentation skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Detail oriented
- Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
- Adept at business intelligence

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
