Technical Specialist

The Technical Specialist will design and implement SharePoint and web-based solutions to support business processes. The role involves translating requirements into actionable deliverables, ensuring quality through testing, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance workflows and systems. The ideal candidate will work independently while maintaining strong communication and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design SharePoint and web-based solutions supporting business processes.
• Translate business and design requirements into detailed user stories.
• Prioritize, schedule, and deliver work independently.
• Manage communication, dependencies, and project status across initiatives.
• Document project deliverables and maintain technical reference materials.
• Collaborate with business partners to improve and reengineer processes.
• Perform QA testing including system-level, workflow, and edge-case validation.
• Coordinate test validation and support deployment activities.
• Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation.
• Prototype, troubleshoot, and validate solutions with users.
• Provide quality control across technical and functional deliverables.
• Mentor team members and provide subject matter expertise.

Skills

• Advanced expertise in SharePoint including lists, libraries, content types, and site structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing SharePoint and web-based solutions.
• Experience in QA testing and validation of workflows and systems.
• Experience in business process analysis and re-engineering.
• Experience creating user-focused documentation compliant with accessibility standards.
• Experience as a SharePoint Designer or Site Owner.

Should Have

• Knowledge of Preconstruction business processes.
• Experience with wireframing tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Experience working with IT service management tools.
• Experience with AI-based productivity tools.

Qualification And Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
