Job Description
Our efood market Growth & Retail Media team is on the lookout for a new team member with high analytical, project management and commercial acumen, to join their quest of ensuring growth by optimising the performance of all our grocery product categories.
What is efood market?
Efood market is the leading on demand online super market in Greece, and one of the fastest growing business verticals owned and operated by efood. Through our distribution hubs, we service hundreds of thousands of orders on a monthly basis, delivering a selection of over 6k selected grocery products within 20-40 minutes from the moment the order is placed.
This high-paced service asks for a continuous optimization of our products' range, pricing, promotional campaigns, availability and relevance to our users.
In your daily job as a Performance & Growth Specialist you will analyse data, set up bulletproof cross-functional processes and monitor implementation that will ensure the business is performing according to targets set by senior local and international management on all of the areas above.
What you will do:
Assortment Optimization
- Create product performance reports based on user behaviour & order data in order to detect opportunities for onboarding and delisting products in each of the efood market distribution hubs
- Conduct market gap analyses that will detect missing products with high relevance to our users
- Design and monitor processes involving commercial, supply chain and store operation stakeholders in order to ensure implementation of the reports' findings
Demand & Inventory
- Create weekly, monthly & quarterly sales forecasts based on sales history, seasonality and ad-hoc promotional parameters and ensures inventory stakeholders are promptly and effectively informed
- Create daily clearance campaigns and aligns with supply chain in order to optimize inventory levels through delistings, re-distribution, pricing & product visibility adjustments
Pricing
- Conduct regular competitor price benchmarking
- Streamline prices between internal databases and working files
- Create workflows for flawless pricing updates according to price indices
- Offer insights and suggestions for revenue growth
Promotion Effectiveness
- Assist in the creation of periodical promo schedules per product category, in order to assist Category Managers in their effort to attract promo investment by CPGs
- Provide insights as per promo campaigns' impact in increasing revenue, user retention, order frequency and basket size
- Measure and allocate product promotion budget
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial, marketing, category management, or data analytics within the grocery retail sector.
- Experience in e-commerce is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset; adept at working with large datasets and translating them into actionable insights.
- Proven project management expertise, with the ability to design and implement efficient workflows across diverse teams and functions.
- Skilled at establishing workflow routines, ensuring stakeholder accountability, and driving timely, accurate execution.
- Ability to translate numerical insights into practical sales and business outcomes.
- Proficiency in creating and managing files that integrate project workstreams with data calculations to support workflow requirements.
- Solid commercial acumen with a strong understanding of the sales potential of grocery products.
