The Senior Product Manager will lead the strategy, development, and optimization of upstream merchandising systems, from planning through order execution. This role is responsible for defining the product vision and ensuring these capabilities effectively support merchandising decision-making while delivering intuitive, scalable, and efficient user experiences.
Because these capabilities rely on extensive integrations with foundational and adjacent systems, the Senior Product Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the flow of data across platforms. This includes ensuring that data inputs, structures, and workflows are well-governed, scalable, and designed to enable seamless interoperability across systems and teams.
A strong understanding of end-to-end business processes is essential for success in this role. The Senior Product Manager must understand the full user journey—from upstream merchandising inputs through downstream operational and reporting impacts—to ensure product enhancements are strategically designed and do not create unintended system or process disruptions.
Working closely with engineering, merchandising, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Product Manager will translate business strategy into a clear product roadmap, define priorities, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. This role also ensures teams have access to the insights and data necessary to drive informed merchandising decisions while continuously improving system capabilities and user outcomes.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with other product managers, product designers, software engineers and stakeholders to deliver innovative products and services that align to strategic priorities as well as achieve product-market fit. You will define and establish a comprehensive vision, strategy and roadmap for your product within a modern development environment.
Be the "voice of the product" empathizing with customers and stakeholders! As a Senior Product Manager, you will set goals based on outcomes and measure progress towards those goals as well as alignment back to the business. That data then informs future product iterations and prioritization within your roadmap.
Bringing cohesion and coordination to domain level initiatives by blending strategy and tactics to achieve business results is essential in this role. You will interact with all functional areas of the company including product design, software engineering, leadership and portfolio stakeholder groups.
You will develop compelling arguments for your product success in the market as well as launch strategies that are inclusive of ramp up, marketing and adoption strategies.
Part of the job is to manage the backlog. You will create effective user stories as well as lead backlog prioritization and management; performing testing of product features with engineers to ensure acceptance criteria is met, capture bugs and work towards defect resolution.
