Associate Product Manager
Join Diligent's Foundational Services team as an Associate Product Manager and help shape the future of our platform. You'll take ownership of two critical services within our platform: centralized permission controls and an organizational structure service. This role is ideal for someone with a growth mindset, technical curiosity, and a passion for delivering meaningful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive the roadmap for our Organizational Structure service, including product discovery and prioritization.
- Support the development and evolution of an IAM-style roles and permissions service, enabling secure and scalable access across the Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, Customer Service, Professional Services, and other Product Managers.
- Apply AI tools to accelerate research, documentation, and decision-making.
- Influence product strategy across business units.
What success looks like (first 6–12 months) includes:
- Support the growth and adoption of our permission controls service.
- Delivery of a prioritized roadmap for Organizational Structure.
- Completion of initial product discovery for high-impact features.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.
- Early wins in applying AI to streamline workflows and support team adoption.
Required experience/skills include:
- 1-3 years experience in product management or as a product owner or business analyst.
- Background in a tech company or technical department.
- Entry-level fluency in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, Perplexity, v0).
- Customer empathy and a user-centric mindset.
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical thinking and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Execution focus with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and domains.
Nice-to-haves include:
- Understanding of identity management fundamentals (authentication, authorization, lifecycle management).
- Familiarity with access control models (RBAC, ABAC) and Zero Trust principles.
- Awareness of platform architecture and integration patterns (Okta).
- Basic querying and analysis skills (e.g., SQL, log queries).

U.S pay range: $75,000 - $93,000 CAD

If you are within a commuting distance to one of our Diligent office locations, you will be expected to work onsite at least 50% of the time.
