What You'll Do as a Product & Application Specialist:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, distributors, and installers from initial inquiry through order fulfillment and issue resolution
• Respond to customer inquiries and prepare accurate quotations including pricing, lead times, and terms
• Enter and manage customer orders in ERP with high accuracy, verifying pricing, part numbers, and delivery requirements
• Provide product and application support, helping customers select the right products and offering technical guidance before, during, and after installation
• Resolve customer issues, including order discrepancies, shipping questions, quality concerns, and RMAs
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to support orders, lead times, and issue resolution
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and application requirements, escalating complex issues to Engineering when needed
• Capture and communicate customer feedback, application insights, and recurring issues to support product, process, and documentation improvements

What You Need to Bring to the Product & Application Specialist:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field is preferred
• 3–10 years of experience in inside sales, technical support, manufacturing, or customer-facing roles
• Experience with industrial or manufactured products (preferred)
• Strong customer service orientation with urgency and professionalism
• Ability to interpret technical information, drawings, and product specifications
• High attention to detail, especially in quoting, pricing, and order entry
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis
• Comfort using ERP and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
