As a Senior Product Researcher, you will shape the future of our products experience by blending data and user insights into a clear, actionable direction. On our Platform Team you'll lead impactful research initiatives, applying qualitative and quantitative methods to reveal customer behaviors, needs, and motivations. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you'll help drive innovation and guide product decisions with compelling research narratives. Your work will empower teams to deliver thoughtful, engaging, and user-informed product strategies at scale.
What You'll Do
- Create curiosity around research from every member of our organization to ensure we make business and product decisions on user research and insights.
- Derive insights to inform the definition and development of products across our teams.
- Be a trusted partner and work cross-functionally with teams to shape and execute research plans based on business needs and growth/innovation initiatives.
- Partner with product analytics to present cohesive research insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Lead strategic design and execution of user-centered research and usability studies that provide actionable insights which influence product roadmaps and strategies.
- Interpret research results, derive implications, perform market analysis, and gather strategic intelligence to provide insights regarding the market, trends, and our customers' needs and pain points.
- Stay current with research techniques and tools in the field of User Experience to direct approaches for research projects and ensure the most effective and efficient resources are used.
What You'll Bring
- At least 5 years of experience as a hands-on researcher for digital products, preferably with some experience in a lead role or central point of contact for a large product area with many stakeholders.
- Expertise in a broad range of methodologies, including ethnographic research, site visits, interviews, usability testing, surveys, lean experimentation, etc.
- Experience partnering with product analytics to integrate quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills with experience presenting ideas, thoughts, and information persuasively.
- Ability to prioritize research projects based on organizational goals and product roadmaps and leverage strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience collaborating and partnering strategically with Design, Product, and other partners to drive and influence product decisions.
- Expertise in a wide range of user research methods and tools, including customer interviews, usability testing, surveys (ideally some knowledge of MaxDiff methodology).
- Familiarity with research tools such as UserTesting, Alchemer, and Dovetail.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 122,400.00 USD - 153,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
