Product And Execution Specialist

The Product And Execution Specialist is a core member of the Private Banking Department, primarily responsible for investment product development, due diligence, transaction execution, servicing and compliance. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers, and external partners to ensure high-quality product delivery, efficient trade execution, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective delivery of investment products and services.
• Conduct initial due diligence on new investment products and perform ongoing reviews of existing shelf products.
• Propose and maintain loan-to-value (LTV) parameters for eligible securities under the securities-backed portfolio financing program.
• Provide market intelligence, product updates, and new products training to relationship managers on a regular basis.
• Participate in client account reviews and contribute to growth strategies from a product perspective.
• Monitor market developments and formulate product ideas aligned with client needs and business objectives.
• Support the launch and distribution of competitive investment products.

• Execute market-side transactions across asset classes accurately and efficiently, applying best execution principles where applicable.
• Support system-related initiatives, including implementation planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and rollout.
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and servicing processes.

• Collaborate with PB first line of defense and other control functions to ensure product sales and trade execution processes comply with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks.
• Maintain high standards of governance throughout the product lifecycle and execution process.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination passes (Type 1 and Type 4) are an advantage.

• Range of 5 – 15 years of relevant experience in investment products, private banking, or wealth management.
• Trade execution experience is preferred.
• Candidate with more experience may be considered for a senior title as FVP.

• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and risk awareness.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
