Product Manager

Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This position is responsible for multiple product lines within the Three Phase UPS & Batteries business in the Americas. Responsibilities include: driving business growth strategies and margin improvements, product offering and positioning, product roadmaps, channel development, and interface with sales, channels and customers.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $123,750 - $181,500 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage 480V 93PM UPS, the 9395 Legacy UPS, the 9395P UPS products and launch the Konark, liquid cooled UPS product to meet business unit revenue and margin objectives, with total 2026 estimated revenue targeted in the range of $300-350M.
  • Drive product features and offerings, pricing, and positioning strategies to meet objectives.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and/or weakness and develop appropriate response plans.
  • Forecast market and channel demand to ensure product availability.
  • Perform periodic reviews of competitors' technology, products, channel strategy and price/cost positions to determine requirements for product leadership.
  • Develop marketing plans to exploit competitors' channel or product weaknesses to meet growth objectives.
  • Manage monthly and annual budget expenses; meet profit plan objectives including sales and margin targets.
  • Develop launch kits, sales collateral, and sales tools to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Perform sales and product training duties as well as support company trade shows and events.
  • Work, cross-functionally to drive customer satisfaction through operational excellence.
  • Leading, along with driving continuous improvement, the demand step of CPS (including the current incumbent's peers' product lines) SIOP process.
  • Supporting Product Line Manager in developing product marketing tools & processes related to building organizational capability and efficiency through maturing digital mindset.
  • Supporting Product Line Manager in building strategic plans and profit plans

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Product Marketing, sales or manufacturing.
  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must reside within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Must also be experienced with customer meetings and presentations.
  • Competitive benchmarking of features and price, new product requirement definition, business plan development, value proposition development, new product launch, developing sales collateral, sales training, and business development.
