Eaton's Life Safety division is currently seeking a Product & Marketing Manager. This role can be located out of Long Branch, NJ or Sarasota, FL.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
The Life Safety Product and Marketing Manager will need to be focused and adaptable in a high paced environment. The role will be pivotal for our success as we move into a period of product replacement and transition to newer technology. The role will also be responsible for managing a small team of focused industry professionals, direct management of the Project Management and Technical Customer Support teams is required. Cross team collaboration is also a critical part of the role so the person must be able to approach teamwork in a professional and focused manner. The person will be responsible for training, coaching, managing and recruiting for the direct reports and future talent.

Product Manager:
• Program ownership NPI & VAVEs
o Manage Project Management staff through Gate Reviews and the Pro-Launch process
o Gate reviews / BOCs
o Gather VOC on NPI & VAVEs
o Conduct voice of the customer input including internal stakeholders
o Provide customer input to value added value engineered projects
Product Dev
o Develop a business opportunity analysis for product development - projected life cycle volumes, pricing, costs, development, and marketing expenses
o Maintain key customer contacts
Product Maintenance
o Support pricing changes and competitive analysis
o Provide SAP forecasts for phase in and out of new products
o S&OP planning forecast and monthly review presentation in conjunction with Customer Service Manager
Commercial marketing activity
o Produce and maintain all customer facing marketing materials
o Produce and maintain all customer facing marketing portals (website etc)
o Work with sales regarding customer promotional materials
o Trade show support
o Ensure all Eaton tools and policies are used
o Maintain Product data
o Maintain Eaton LSMNS website
o Use centers of excellence for marketing activity where possible
o Digital Media
o Ensure maximization of all digital platforms
o Ensure use of social media platforms approved by Eaton
