As a Sr. Manager, Marketing Analysis & Insights on the Growth Marketing Team, you'll play a pivotal role by using your deep expertise in Adobe Analytics to help uncover insights that drive business strategy and performance. In this role, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders across product, marketing, and business intelligence teams to ensure we are tracking key activities and learning from user behavior and site performance data.

For this Digital Analytics & Insights Specialist role, we are seeking a candidate with proven ability to implement tracking, activate audiences, and surface information to help our teams optimization efforts and strategic decision-making across our digital ecosystem. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless analytics implementation across web, mobile, and other digital platforms, enabling unified customer journey analysis
  • Implement and manage tags using Adobe Experience Platform Launch (formerly Adobe DTM), including installing Adobe Analytics and Identity Service extensions, creating properties, data elements, and rules
  • Define and configure custom variables (eVars, props) and events via tag rules to capture critical business actions like page views, product views, form submissions, transactions, etc.
  • Configure Datalayers/ data stream to ensure desired evars/ events are available in Adobe CDP for segmentation
  • Build comprehensive measurement plans and technical specifications in coordination with business and product partners
  • Validate data collection using Adobe Experience Platform Debugger or similar tools, testing across dev/test/prod environments and troubleshooting tag/data discrepancies
  • Develop dashboards and reports in Adobe Analytics and Analysis Workspace; deliver insights and recommendations via trend analysis, conversion funnels, custom metrics, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into strategic recommendations and operational improvements. Monitor analytics data quality and flag anomalies; maintain tagging documentation, issue trackers, and governance model across digital properties
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure Adobe data ingestion into the AWS ecosystem to enable further integration with other data sources
  • Continuously optimize tagging and reporting processes, finding opportunities to improve important metrics such as engagement, conversion rate, and retention

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Analytics implementation, including:
  • Adobe Launch (tag setup, extensions, rule building)
  • eVar/prop configuration and custom event tracking
  • Report Suite creation/management and virtual report suite setup
  • Solid proficiency in JavaScript, front-end basics (DOM, CSS selectors), plus an understanding of HTTP and data layers
  • Experience with analytics validation tools such as Adobe Debugger
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to translate business requirements into measurement specs, and to interpret data for meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication skills—able to partner with marketing, development, product, and analytics teams to align tagging strategy and execution
  • Skilled in data storytelling to help effectively translate data and prove/disprove key testing hypotheses to inform future strategies
  • Ability to deeply understand the business to drive high levels of confidence in any available data

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $105,400 - $140,600. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
