Learning Experience Designer II – Wellpoint Federal

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Learning Experience Designer II is responsible for analyzing, designing, building, and implementing business-aligned, integrated learning solutions using a variety of techniques and tools.

How you will make an impact:

  • Collaborates with business partners on expected business outcomes.
  • Participates in needs analysis and recommends effective learning solutions.
  • Works collaboratively with other content developers, graphic designers, technology consultants, technologists, and other project team members on design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.
  • Uses all approved processes, tools and templates to standard for development and reporting.
  • Actively maintains all content.
  • Participates in quality review process.
  • Participates in and contributes to Learning & Development sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS in related field and minimum of 2 years training and development experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • This position is part of our Wellpoint Federal division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments, with the ability to design learning solutions that align to compliance and business requirements such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading the design and delivery of scalable digital learning solutions, including eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, and blended learning, that drive measurable operational outcomes preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360 and eLearning Brothers tools; experience leveraging learning management systems such as Workday Learning to manage and optimize learning experiences preferred.
  • Strong consulting and needs analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into performance-based learning strategies preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders and managing projects with minimal direction preferred.
  • Experience evaluating learning effectiveness using data and continuously improving solutions to enhance learner experience and business impact preferred

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $65,920 to $98,880
