Product Experience Coach

We are seeking a Product Experience Coach to help our product and UX teams elevate customer-centric practices, improve user experience outcomes, and build stronger discovery-to-delivery connections. This role is focused on coaching, enabling, and guiding product members and UX teams in embedding user insights into their decision-making process to deliver measurable improvements in customer experience.

Pay Rate: $110 - $120 W2

Responsibilities

  • Assess Product Pain Points: Analyze current product challenges tied to user experience, usability, and adoption.
  • Coach on Discovery Practices: Guide product teams in conducting effective product discovery sessions to uncover unmet or underserved customer needs.
  • Facilitate Customer Journey Understanding: Enable product managers and UX engineers to create and leverage journey maps, experience maps, and service blueprints.
  • Embed Research in Delivery: Teach teams to interpret, synthesize, and apply user research and data insights into product decisions and backlog prioritization.
  • Shape Backlog for Experience Outcomes: Partner with product leaders to translate research findings into actionable backlog items that directly improve user experience.
  • Measure and Monitor UX: Define and implement metrics, benchmarks, and feedback loops to measure user experience and track improvements over time.
  • Coach for Sustainability: Build capability within product and UX teams so they can independently sustain user-centered practices.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management, UX research, or design coaching.
  • Strong knowledge of product discovery techniques, customer journey mapping, and experience mapping.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and how UX integrates into product backlogs.
  • Ability to translate research findings into business outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience measuring UX effectiveness with qualitative and quantitative data.

Desired Skills

  • Expertise in human-centered design and design thinking practices.
  • Comfortable coaching senior stakeholders as well as hands-on practitioners.
  • Experience with tools such as Figma, Miro, UserTesting, Qualtrics, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to link customer experience improvements to ROI.
