The Electrical Designer II completely designs projects of a small to medium size with limited oversight by the engineer of record. He/she utilizes design and Revit skills and experience to ensure quality, engineering solutions.

The Electrical Designer II reports operationally to the senior staff member responsible for the specific project and has the authority to exercise independent control over the design and production tasks to which assigned. An engineer performs a detailed review of all completed non-routine items; a general review of routine items is performed. The Electrical Designer II works with a high level of independence; represents Miller Electric in communication with Owner-Architect-Contractors; resolves complex design problems relying upon discipline experience.
Responsible for the complete performance of the assigned tasks, assuring completion with attention to quality and service within the project budget and schedule while maintaining positive client relationships. The guidelines, practices and policies of the business unit must be followed. The Electrical Designer II produces complex designs consistent with the skills and experience of the individual to assure quality, engineering solutions. Working with other team members on complex projects, the activities will include a high degree of analysis and creative solutions. He/she is responsible to coordinate efforts between disciplines and work as a team player on complex projects.
