Senior Product Manager - Healthcare Technology (Remote)
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Senior Product Manager & Product Owner is the owner of vision, strategy, and outcomes for Experian Health's Data Platform Solutions portfolio. You will set long-term product direction while maintaining hands-on ownership of delivery for critical data platform capabilities.
You will blend end-to-end product leadership—from market discovery and portfolio strategy through delivery, launch, and value realization—with deep cross-functional partnership across engineering, architecture, compliance, legal, and go-to-market teams. You will guide the creation of scalable, compliant, and market-differentiated data-as-a-product capabilities that power Experian Health's ecosystem and ensure sustainable growth.
You'll have opportunity to:
Product Strategy, Vision & Portfolio Leadership
- Define and own a multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Platform Solutions, balancing customer needs, regulatory requirements, technical feasibility, and commercial goals.
- Establish outcomes-driven goals and success metrics (e.g., value delivery, adoption, reliability, and scalability).
- Be a domain authority in data platforms, data-as-a-product principles, and healthcare data ecosystems, guiding architectural direction and investment decisions.
- Lead market discovery and competitive analysis, monitoring industry trends, latest technologies, and regulatory shifts to inform product direction.
- Identify, evaluate, and incubate new data products and platform capabilities, translating market opportunity into clear strategies and business cases.
Delivery Excellence & Product Ownership
- Be the Product Owner for one or more development teams, accountable for maximizing delivered value and ensuring execution aligns to strategic intent.
- Define and manage product epics, capabilities, and outcomes, translating strategy into well-prioritized, executable backlogs.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and data teams to clarify complex requirements, define measurable acceptance criteria, and balance speed, quality, scalability, and technical health.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, release readiness, and dependency management across multiple teams.
Enterprise & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Ensure all data products meet healthcare regulatory, privacy, and security standards while promoting innovation and extensibility.
- Partner with Product Marketing to shape positioning, messaging, and enablement materials, including executive presentations, demos, and expertise content.
- Support sales and client engagements through executive-level presentations, complex deal support, and pricing and packaging strategy.
- Be a mentor for Product Managers and Product Owners, elevating product practices, and strategic thinking across the organization.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive product management experience, including ownership of enterprise-scale platforms or data products.
- Experience owning both product strategy and delivery execution.
- Demonstrated expertise applying data-as-a-product principles within platform or ecosystem architectures.
- Healthcare technology experience required, including exposure to data governance, compliance, and interoperability.
- Experience working within or alongside data platforms and technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, or MongoDB (preferred).
- Experience operating in scaled Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
- Experience as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, influencing platform evolution, investment decisions, and data strategy across the organization.
- Able to travel up to 20%.
