Print Marketing Specialist – Family Dollar

The Print Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end execution of in-store marketing programs by focusing on data entry, project management, and quality control. This position ensures the accurate and timely production of marketing and print materials for a variety of promotional initiatives—including print ads, digital campaigns, fiscal events, grand openings, and reopenings.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners to deliver signage and store communications that support sales-driving initiatives across all store formats.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end project management process for print signage—including setup, tracking, proofing, production, and distribution
  • Input and manage detailed sign content and specifications with accuracy and consistency across internal systems
  • Conduct quality checks and proofing of signage to ensure brand consistency and error-free execution
  • Create and maintain timelines, checklists, and tracking tools to ensure on-time delivery of materials
  • Collaborate with Store Operations to author portal-based store communications and other supporting collateral
  • Respond to store inquiries via the Marketing Mailbox, providing timely and accurate assistance and resolution
  • Maintain accurate store/location lists and distribute updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor printer-to-store signage shipments and resolve any issues affecting timely delivery
  • Cross-train with team members to gain broader knowledge and provide support across the in-store marketing team
  • Assist with other marketing and administrative tasks as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience: 5+ years in a marketing, retail, or project coordination role; experience with print production or signage is a plus
  • Skills & Qualifications:
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Comfort with repetitive data entry tasks and process consistency
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build collaborative relationships
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset
    • Experience presenting to leadership and contributing to team strategies
  • Computer Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or retail systems is a plus
