Job Description

Five Below is hiring for a Sr. Manager, Digital Media Strategy (Seasonal Marketing) to be a part of the Digital Marketing team reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing. The candidate will be based in our headquarters in Philadelphia. As the Sr. Manager you will be the Marketing Leader for our seasonal campaigns and be the point person to support the development of integrated brand campaigns for those key moments. Your experience in creating compelling brand stories and familiarity with retail industry trends will be crucial in driving the marketing strategy for our key seasons, positioning Five Below appropriately, extracting the key stories to be told and bringing them to life across our ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing storytelling vision and execution for our key seasonal curtains up moments.
  • Develop strong cross functional partnerships with Merchandising and embed yourself in the company go to market process to be the key seasonal marketing partner.
  • Extract compelling and differentiated marketing stories that align to merchants' assortment and product strategy as well as drive the strategic brand vision.
  • Align key merchandising stories and initiatives to the appropriate customer segments and larger marketing communication plans.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide regular reporting and recommendations to cross functional partners.
  • Support the creation of the annual marketing calendar to plan key activations across our marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with agency to ensure alignment on marketing strategy and execution.
  • Assist Director in writing thoughtful creative briefs that facilitate the production of impactful, customer-focused creative content.
  • Partner with creative team to bring stories to life in channel appropriate form factors for seasonal campaigns.
  • Partner with eCommerce merchandising to prioritize key stories and ensure a cohesive customer experience between marketing and digital experiences for key seasonal campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience in a retail and digital setting, with a focus on product and the customer.
  • Strategic and creative customer centric marketing leader who can understand customer needs and connect with the brand's offering.
  • Experience driving the brand storytelling process and bringing them to life by creating comprehensive creative briefs.
  • Solution and results oriented, comfortable using data to measure success, iterate and optimize.
  • Comfort and depth of experience in using data to measure marketing performance and make decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High EQ and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across a variety of leaders in the organization to balance different needs in the organization.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, adapt and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and process driven with strong attention to details.
  • Preferred experience in paid media strategy and awareness of dynamics of digital media.
