Product Manager

Foot Locker Inc. is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Product Manager to lead initiatives across the Merchandise Planning technology domain. This role will be responsible for defining and delivering capabilities that power pre-season buying, merchandise financial planning (MFP), allocation, size optimization, and assortment planning across a complex omni-channel retail environment. This individual will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, and will define and deliver solutions that enable smarter buying decisions, improve inventory productivity, and enhance the systems and data that fuel enterprise merchandise planning activities across the globe.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in retail, merchandising, or planning / allocation / replenishment technology, with at least 3 years leading enterprise level or advanced data and analytics product deliveries.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Pre-season Buying and Planning activities, inventory management, planning & allocation, predictive analytics, demand forecasting, or similar domains.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically, define product strategies, and translate business needs into technical requirements that drive business outcomes.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and inspire others to achieve product goals. Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities as well as mentoring Jr. Product team members.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation formats, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and build strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Act as the primary advocate for inventory optimization capabilities within the organization, ensuring alignment and buy-in from all key stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven: A track record of delivering successful product launches and achieving measurable results.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; an MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with leading inventory optimization and retail advanced analytics platforms Working knowledge of API integrations, data governance, and advanced data modeling techniques Understanding of retail merchandising processes, including assortment planning, pricing, and allocation
