About the Role:
The role of the Marketing Coordinator is primarily to assist the marketing, public relations, and sales teams. The candidate must be an excellent team player with a strong interest in sales, marketing, and public relations.
What You Will Do:
Public Relations and Communications:
- Support the implementation of an annual public relations and communications plan, including content writing (press releases, bios, story pitches).
- Collaborate with departments to develop impactful stories and create experiences aligned with the hotel's positioning.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the PR & Marketing function, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas in advance; document and circulate clear recap notes, action items, and follow-ups.
- Maintain and organize the hotel's shared marketing and PR resources (image libraries, press kits, documents, and assets) to ensure accessibility and consistency.
- Support media relations: target publications, coordinate visits/interviews, and build new media contacts.
- Secure editorial coverage through brand agencies, B2B, and Restaurant & Bar PR opportunities.
- Participate in local events and explore brand and tourism partnership collaborations.
- Track PR results, prepare reports, monitor competitors, and contribute to the improvement of the marketing dashboard.
- Manage calendars, bookings, and logistical coordination for shoots, interviews, and PR activations.
Brand Management:
- Ensure proper application of visual identity throughout the hotel and outlets.
- Coordinate and create promotional items, newsletters, and seasonal brochures.
- Assist in producing and coordinating photo and video shoots.
- Support sales, catering, and reservations teams by reviewing sales materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and hotel positioning.
Social Media:
- Manage the hotel, restaurant, and bar social channels with engaging and brand-aligned content.
- Oversee community management and monitor conversations related to the hotel, luxury sector, and local market.
- Leverage social media to amplify key messages and strengthen organic engagement.
- Track deliverables for media and influencer collaborations (content, tags, usage rights, timelines).
- Apply a data-driven social media strategy using monitoring and analytics tools.
- Coordinate influencer collaborations and integrate user-generated content.
Website and Digital:
- Supervise the hotel's online and offline presence across all channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand positioning.
- Support digital marketing initiatives (SEO, PPC, email, display advertising) with internal teams and agencies.
- Collaborate with operations to promote the Four Seasons app, guest data collection, and online reviews.
- Manage the local mailing list and maintain a targeted communication calendar.
- Monitor online reputation and conduct competitive benchmarking to optimize content and digital performance.
What You Bring:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in French, written and verbal.
- Advanced level of English required for negotiating with international clientele, producing submissions, contracts, and presentations in English, and maintaining business relations with international partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset suited to high-end clientele.
- Resilience to stress, ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Team spirit, autonomy, resourcefulness, and a professional attitude at all times.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Creativity, initiative, and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Experience in marketing, sales, or digital content creation; photography is an asset.
- Strong computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint), Opera, and Golden.
- Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
- Diploma from a college in a relevant field (communication, marketing, hospitality, or other).
