Senior Product Manager, D2C E-Commerce
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Manager, D2C eCommerce to own the product strategy and roadmap for personalized photo products on our Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce platform. This role drives product positioning, innovation, and revenue growth by aligning customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
You will lead cross-functional collaboration with product, design, engineering, supply chain, marketing, and merchandising teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality photo product experiences. With a strong focus on go-to-market readiness, performance analysis, and customer insights, you will optimize product performance, enhance user experience, and identify new growth opportunities.
Job Description
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for all personalized photo products on the D2C e-commerce platform, focusing on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Develop revenue targets and performance goals that align with business objectives.
- Own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to target customer segments.
- Identify and prioritize innovation opportunities through competitive landscape monitoring and consumer insights.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with product development, design, engineering, and ecommerce development teams to align initiatives with product roadmap, end user needs and business goals.
- Partner with design/engineering teams to develop intuitive, customizable workflows that maximize user satisfaction and minimize friction.
- Work closely with supply chain, operations, and inventory teams to ensure efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery.
- Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and CRM to translate product roadmap into compelling messaging and go-to-market activations.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders, providing transparency on product goals, milestones, and roadmap status.
- Manage stakeholder communication and alignment across multiple teams, ensuring transparency and shared ownership of goals and timelines.
Go-To-Market (GTM) & Launch Readiness:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on GTM strategies for new product launches and feature rollouts.
- Develop GTM playbooks including positioning frameworks, messaging guidelines, and competitive benchmarks.
- Support site readiness by working with Merchandising on catalog requirements and content alignment.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and inventory planning teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
Analytics & Performance Optimization:
- Analyze performance data and customer insights to optimize sales, conversion and AOV; inclusive of cross sell and upsell strategies.
- Analyze sales trends, customer data, and market insights to inform forecasts and adjust strategies proactively.
- Conduct customer research and segmentation analysis to refine product-market fit.
- Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and optimize user experience.
- Proactively assess product risk, forecast demand, and recommend adjustments to improve profitability.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for hiring and training 2 junior team members within the first 12 months of their role.
- Provide clear objectives and work assignments for the team, effectively managing team deliverables.
- Monitor and track employee performance and provide regular and timely feedback.
- Identify training and growth opportunities to advance the individual team member.
- Accomplish staff job results by coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Review and approve timesheets for contractors (as needed).
- Recruit and onboard contractors as needed for various projects, whether working with Fujifilm HR or outside placement agencies to find the talent needed for the project.
Required Skills/Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, preferably within D2C e-commerce or consumer technology sectors.
- Proven management experience leading high performing teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make informed product decisions.
- Experience leveraging data and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker) to inform strategy and decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling product narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with evolving priorities.
Desired Skills
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in the imaging/photo industry.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and forecasting tools
- Proven track record managing successful product launches in a D2C eCommerce environment
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, eCommerce customer journeys, and conversion optimization.
- Passion for understanding consumer behavior and delivery exceptional customer experiences.
