Cpq, Medical Informatics (Mi) Marketing Manager

The CPQ, Medical Informatics (MI) Marketing Manager supports our CPQ market strategy and workflows for the Synapse Enterprise Imaging portfolio of products sold into the North America and Global markets. The CPQ MI Marketing Manager will assist in streamlining the quoting process of the portfolio, helping develop scalable quoting workflows, collaborating with product development, and supporting process improvements. The role involves supporting platform management and learning continuous improvement of quoting systems. The position works closely with our MI Marketing Operations team, product owners, sales leadership, finance, quality assurance, legal, and order management. The CPQ MI Marketing Manager should have a good understanding of the products within the Synapse enterprise imaging portfolio to assist in positioning the Guided Selling Strategies. This role requires collaboration with all members of the HCUS Medical Informatics organization and other cross-functional departments.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing user-friendly, scalable quoting workflows reflecting needs of quoting Medical Informatics solutions in enterprise settings in the North American and Global markets.
  • Support the lifecycle of the Oracle CPQ platform, contributing to strategy and requirements through delivery and optimization.
  • Help develop and implement Guided Selling strategies to help sales teams efficiently quote combinations of software, hardware, and professional services in single enterprise quotes.
  • Aid in understanding requirements for quoting regulated medical software, hardware, and consulting, ensuring compliance and approval workflows across all product lines.
  • Gather and assist in synthesizing requirements from cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Order Management, TAC / Customer Service, and Support Contracts, assisting in translating business needs into actionable user stories and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, marketing, and implementation teams to help maintain compliance and accuracy in Guided Selling rules.
  • Help create and maintain a CPQ product roadmap supporting quoting, pricing, and product configuration processes.
  • Assist in managing the product backlog and prioritizing features based on business impact and stakeholder input.
  • Work with sales, marketing, finance, quality assurance, legal, and order management teams to gather requirements and validate design decisions.
  • Support the integration of multiple product lines, ensuring accurate product configuration, pricing, and bundling within the CPQ environment.
  • Monitor system performance, gather feedback, assist in user testing, and recommend process improvements.
  • Document requirements, maintain process artifacts, and assist in user training as needed.
  • Stay informed of Oracle CPQ enhancements and relevant healthcare enterprise software trends.
  • Support integration efforts between the CPQ platform and other critical systems, such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Help deliver a seamless quoting experience for multi-product, service-rich solutions.
  • Participate in market and sales introduction strategy for new products, supporting sales to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with MI sales leaders to ensure sales have necessary selling tools.
  • Assist in conducting MI Sales CPQ training and communicate quote generation workflows and updates.
  • Gather input from sales, marketing, order management, implementation, contracts, and customer service to keep quoting processes up-to-date.
  • Actively participate with Product Management teams, learning product quoting requirements and innovations targeted at sales and customers.
  • Collaborate with PdM and development teams to understand field topics, roadmap progression, and product goals.
  • Support travel to Synapse development offices for collaborative meetings.
  • Maintain high market interest in the Synapse product portfolio through ongoing collaboration.
  • Support MI sales training initiatives to help sales execute Guided Selling strategy.
  • Assist the RFP team as a CPQ subject matter resource to ensure accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with MI Marketing, PdM, and development teams to provide competitive feedback and market insights from sales activity.
  • Engage with Sales Enablement tools such as Salesforce Community, Showpad, Klue, Workfront, and others.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485, and other standards.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/MA degree preferred, with 5 to 7 years of experience in Healthcare / Enterprise Imaging Informatics or related fields.
  • 5 to 7 years experience working with Oracle CPQ or other competitive CPQ platforms; familiarity with guided selling or quoting workflows is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of CPQ and sales guided selling capabilities; willingness to learn and grow skills in these areas.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional requirement gathering and process mapping for software and hardware solutions preferred.
  • Ability to document and help manage requirements in a dynamic and agile environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Interest or some experience in software promotion or enterprise imaging is a plus.
  • Exposure to marketing and sales activities such as strategic planning, go-to-market product planning, and pricing strategies is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with willingness to analyze and resolve issues both strategically and tactically under guidance.
  • Good customer orientation and ability to work collaboratively to achieve results as a team member.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to present ideas clearly and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and sales enablement tools is desirable but training will be provided.
  • Good time management and organizational skills with ability to communicate proactively.
  • Ability to take initiative, follow through on action plans, and work under supervision to meet deadlines.
