Accessories Development Role

This role is responsible for supporting the development programs of accessories relevant to the market and supporting GM Mexico's business. It develops and ensures the portfolio of accessories for Chevrolet, Buick-GMC, and Cadillac brands that drive sales and improve the buying experience of our customers and GM's distributor network.

  • Responsible for the portfolio of accessories for Chevrolet and Premium brands, focusing on the development of new products for Mexico.
  • Coordinator of the schedule of activities for the development of new accessory catalogs.
  • Monitor, negotiate, and follow up on accessory suppliers (costs, delivery times) in conjunction with global teams.
  • Perform monthly and annual sales projections for accessories.
  • Manage the inventory level of accessories in collaboration with the CC&A team and VDCs to have the right stock and mitigate SCRAP.
  • Take the lead on new implementations and projects with Engineering, Product Portfolio, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Presentations to leadership in forums such as PRR and PQRR.
  • Follow up on the operation and strategy of personalization of new vehicles in distribution centers (VDC) to ensure the availability of parts and installation in the right time.
  • Coordinate transmissions and meetings with distributors to share the accessory strategy.
  • Develop plans and strategies to achieve accessory sales objectives through campaigns directed at customers, dealer initiatives, and marketing content.
  • Request and define contracts with purchasing and logistics teams for accessory parts.
  • Plan and research competitor prices for current and new accessories, and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Manage the merchandising program for Chevrolet and the Premium brand.
  • Provide attention and support to General Motors distributors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, finance, sales, data analysis, and negotiations.
  • Software: Office suite and PBI (desirable).
  • English: Intermediate - Advanced (conversational).
