Candidate Description
As a UX Designer, you consistently demonstrate proficiency in UX design, confidently collaborating within your product team. You work independently on moderately complex projects and clearly articulate your design rationale to stakeholders. You're skilled at balancing user needs, business goals, and technical requirements in your designs.
Team
Our global UX organization consists of over 100+ professionals in design, research, education, and operations. We value collaboration, curiosity, and continuous growth, both as individuals and as a team. Closer to home, you'll be part of a group of 16+ passionate UX professionals who work close with our product and engineering partners.
The Knowledge team is responsible for ensuring that organizational content is consistent and accessible across all channels, from self-service bots to Agent Copilot, Copilot, and Knowledge portals. Agent Copilot supports agents before, during, and after interactions with AI-powered features. Copilot helps admins and other Genesys users understand how to improve their contact center and take action.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Execution: Independently execute designs for defined projects, leveraging user research insights and aligning closely with project goals.
- Collaboration & Communication: Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale, working with senior and staff UX designers to align stakeholders around solutions and collaborating directly with product management and engineering.
- Discovery and Definition: Participate in UX discovery efforts on projects, confidently executing tasks related to UX strategy and definition, such as conducting competitor audits and crafting user stories.
- Continuous Learning: Proactively seek mentorship and training opportunities, contributing actively to the team's collective knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 – 4 years of experience in user experience design, demonstrated ability to independently execute designs.
- Education: Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency with Figma and low-fi collaboration tools like Miro/FigJam. Experience with various UX research methodologies. Ability to connect design to product strategy and user needs. Good communication skills, capable of clearly presenting design ideas and gathering feedback across teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in designing for enterprise-level applications, services, or platforms (specifically support or call centers).
