We have an exciting opportunity in PIC South East Asia Region (PIC SEA). We are looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategy and programs that support the account teams in achieving their commercial goals. This role uses specific marketing strategies and media (e.g., print, broadcast, digital) to launch and position products and services in our sector. It is expected to closely collaborate with PIC SEA sales and technical teams.
You Will
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, brand plans and integrated marketing campaigns to drive increased sales and interest in PIC SEA products and services
Evaluate the PIC market place including the development of insights on producer and packer needs and how these are impacted by broader trends in the food system
Collaborate with the SEA Sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies that drive market share and profit growth for PIC SEA Region
Develop a PIC portfolio positioning that reflects how the strengths of PIC's products and services meet market demands, how they differentiate from PIC's competitors, and how they are priced appropriately
Collaborate with Product Development & Technical Services to develop the technical plan required to generate the proof points that support the positioning
Develop and execute tactical marketing campaigns for the PIC product offering
Enable the sales team to communicate the value proposition appropriately through training, customer engagement, useful resources/tools and other means
Work closely with PIC business partners, franchises, and distributors to ensure alignment on the strategic marketing plans for PIC SEA
Analyze market trends, sales data, key account performance indicators to support PIC product development efforts.
Conduct extensive research and analysis to discover competitive information and strategies, product offerings and comparisons in the market place, market potential and trends, pricing patterns, and development plans in support of business expansion in South and East Asia market
Provide communication support to SEA leadership team to ensure teams are receiving consistent, clear messages on strategy, success, and other key business updates;
Act as a PIC brand ambassador; understand, uphold and communicate the PIC brand as the leading pig genetics brand throughout all aspects of marketing.
Participate as an active member of the PIC SEA Leadership Team and the Global Marketing Team
Manage the performance and develop the skillset of the Marketing team
Requirements
Bachelors or master's degree in business, marketing, and/or communications
Minimum 10 years of marketing experience with focus on growing products and services using a variety of marketing tools
Possesses a broad set of marketing skills including brand management, strategic insights, innovation, and digital expertise
Proven ability of leading and developing marketing organizations and brands
Experience building and leading a high performing team
Has strong research and analytical skills; track record of delivering outputs within deadline
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and drive people towards consensus
Able to challenge existing thinking, creative and willing to try new approaches
Marketing experience in agriculture or livestock, animal genetics, breeding, or agribusiness industry is preferred
Experience with presentation of technical information highly desired
