Gigamon

Provides network visibility and analytics solutions that optimize security, performance, and management across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures.

Director Of Product Line Management – Ai

At Gigamon, our purpose is to protect the hybrid networks and data of the largest, most complex organizations on the planet. Certified as a Great Place to Work, we offer a deep observability pipeline that efficiently delivers network-derived intelligence to cloud, security, and observability tools. This helps our customers to eliminate security blind spots, optimize network traffic, and dramatically reduce tool cost and complexity, enabling them to better secure and manage their hybrid cloud infrastructure. Gigamon has served more than 4,000 customers worldwide, including over 80 percent of Fortune 100 enterprises, 9 of the 10 largest mobile network providers, and hundreds of governments and educational organizations. As the Director of Product Line Management – AI, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Gigamon's AI solutions portfolio. Initially an individual contributor role, you will soon lead a team of product managers to define, deliver, and scale AI capabilities that are core to our products and customer workflows, not just embedded agents. Partnering closely with engineering, GTM, and customer-facing teams, you will translate market needs into differentiated AI solutions that drive measurable customer and business outcomes. This is a high-impact, visible role that will shape how Gigamon leverages AI across our deep observability offerings. What you'll do:

  1. Define and own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Gigamon's AI solutions, ensuring they are foundational, scalable, and aligned with company objectives.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of product managers through the full product lifecycle, from concept and requirements through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design and deliver AI capabilities that go beyond simple embedded agents, including end-to-end AI solutions, platforms, and services.
  4. Drive go-to-market strategy for AI offerings, partnering with marketing, sales, customer success, and partners to define positioning, messaging, packaging, and pricing.
  5. Engage directly with customers and field teams to gather requirements, validate value propositions, and prioritize features based on customer impact and market opportunity.
  6. Work closely with sales and SEs to support key opportunities, enable the field, and ensure AI solution value is clearly articulated and demonstrated.
  7. Define metrics for and analyze product performance, usage data, and market feedback to refine strategy, inform roadmap decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to integrate AI capabilities across Gigamon's portfolio, ensuring coherent user experiences and aligned business outcomes.

What you've done:

  • Held prior Director-level (or higher) product management leadership roles, managing a portfolio or product line at scale.
  • Led the definition, delivery, and lifecycle management of AI solutions, beyond simply embedding an AI agent into an existing SaaS application.
  • Owned product strategy and execution across the full lifecycle, including requirements definition, prioritization, release planning, launch, and post-launch iteration.
  • Drove successful go-to-market activities for complex technology products, including positioning, messaging, pricing/packaging, and sales enablement.
  • Partnered closely with engineering and data/AI teams to build and ship AI-powered capabilities or platforms used by enterprise customers.
  • Worked in or around observability, telemetry, or monitoring domains, or adjacent areas such as security or networking (preferred).
  • Gained experience with metadata-centric architectures, data modeling, or systems that rely heavily on rich metadata (preferred).
  • Worked with or around virtualization technologies and virtualized infrastructure environments (preferred).

Who you are:

  • A strategic thinker with strong product management DNA, able to balance vision with pragmatic execution and clear prioritization.
  • A customer-obsessed leader who actively seeks feedback, deeply understands user needs, and translates them into impactful AI solutions.
  • An influential cross-functional collaborator who communicates clearly with executives, engineers, GTM teams, and customers.
  • A data-informed decision maker who uses metrics, experimentation, and qualitative insights to guide product choices.
  • A people leader who coaches and develops product managers, fosters accountability, and builds an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
