Google's known for our innovative technologies, products and services -- and for the people behind them. As part of our recruiting team, you're charged with finding the most interesting candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit to all they do. You're responsible for guiding candidates through our hiring process and connecting them to the magic of working at Google. You're creative and driven, which allows you to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You're also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter and more efficient.

In this role, you will be a key player in identifying and attracting top talent to User Experience (UX) across all product areas. You will directly support the growth and success of UX, enabling the continued innovation in their respective product areas. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for proactively engaging and hiring exceptional applicants for a variety of UX roles. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role and develop hiring strategies to deliver for the business. You will join a team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. Our culture is supportive, where every team member's voice is heard, and contributions are recognized. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and changing environment while growing your career within UX.

Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $88,000-$126,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive full-cycle recruitment by developing and executing cross-team targeted UX recruiting initiatives to meet established goals and objectives, influencing hiring managers on their hiring strategy.
  • Support applicant assessment for UX roles and identify team alignment based on understanding of the organization/function and role profiles.
  • Source active and passive UX applicants through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, contact lists and research.
  • Evaluate UX applicant skills and client needs, screening them for interviews and managing the interview process with minimal guidance.
  • Discuss offers to close UX applicants by leveraging and partnering with executive management, and other groups as necessary.
