Senior Visual Designer

Our Visual Designers weave space, typography, color, and iconography to help people successfully navigate our products, ensuring they are beautiful and accessible. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to leverage user insights and create industry-leading products.

As a Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

The YouTube Design System team is where product design strategy is heading next, defining new patterns and interactions for entertainment platforms. The team creates a scalable design system for the YouTube product ecosystem by providing the principles, components, color strategy, and typography for teams to deliver quality.

Responsibilities include exploring new visual language patterns, developing a holistic design story, partnering with feature teams to craft innovative ideas, building partnerships with UX peers, contributing to the delivery and maintenance of the design language, and leveraging soft skills to form team relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes.
