The City of Fremont's Community Services Department is recruiting for:

The Parks Planning and Design Division's award winning studio seeks to fill a vacancy in its 8-person design team. We aim to create imaginative public spaces; build exciting new parks; implement and appropriately site art in public places; and improve park equity throughout the City through strategic parkland acquisitions.

The position will be filled as either an Associate Landscape Architect or a lower level Landscape Architect II/Designer II, depending upon qualifications and fit. Both positions will perform professional-level landscape architectural work related to the design, construction, and rehabilitation of landscape and irrigation for parks, landscaped areas, and street and urban design projects. In addition, the Associate level incumbent will serve as project manager, team leader and/or supervisor, and consultant manager for site development of city facilities.
