Created in 1993, LAHSA is a joint powers authority of the city and county of Los Angeles. As the lead agency in the HUD-funded Los Angeles Continuum of Care (CoC), we coordinate and manage federal, state, county, and city funds for programs providing shelter, housing, and services to people experiencing homelessness. The Instructional Designer will have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement learning experiences for LAHSA's staff and homeless service providers across Los Angeles County. The Instructional Designer will serve as a thought-partner and subject matter expert in learning solutions for team members and stakeholders. This position's learning solutions will serve staff who tirelessly work to end homelessness.

Proven expertise in the development of eLearning courses and eLearning solutions.
Fluency in using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated basic audio/video editing and graphic design capabilities.
Willingness to manage tasks, issues, and solutions.
Experience in applying adult learning theories and models to the learning design process.
Ability to receive and process feedback.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously within a tight timeframe.

Schedule: The Chief Executive Officer or designee may change the schedule of positions between hybrid and onsite, as necessary to accomplish LAHSA's business needs.
