SouthWest Transit is an award-winning public transit agency serving the core areas of Chaska, Chanhassen, and Eden Prairie. We currently offer express bus service to and from Downtown Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, and Normandale Community College as well as daily on-demand micro-transit service in our core service area as well as adjacent cities in Carver, Scott, and Hennepin counties. In addition to our regular services, we also offer seasonal services including the Minnesota State Fair, Twins Express, Vikings Express, Gophers Express, select concerts, and more.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and execute on print and digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, ensuring alignment with company objectives and priorities
- Responsible for marketing department KPIs and department goals
- Monitor all marketing project requirements, deadlines, timelines, risks and dependencies, and cost
- Manage and execute on customer satisfaction surveys, focus groups, and other as requested
- Develop and coordinate print and digital advertising to accompany marketing campaigns
- Track, report on, and retool campaign successes and opportunities using insights gleaned from data
- Represent SWT at events as needed through tabling and engaging with the community
- Work collaboratively with the Transit Planning, Dispatch, and Customer Experience Teams to increase brand awareness and customer satisfaction of all services
- Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders on projects specific to their departments (i.e., vehicle graphics for operations, advertising for human resources, etc.)
- Develop annual B2C & B2B marketing calendars that include all services and drives the strategic marketing initiatives for the agency
- Create print and digital collateral that accurately reflects SWT's brand - these include banners, posters, flyers, brochures, and more
- Grow SWT's digital presence and tell the story of SWT through blogs, newsletter articles, social media, website content and UX, etc.
- Partner in the management of the brand, ensure consistency across all external facing collateral
- Participate in the execution of surveys, focus groups, and other
- Stay current with marketing trends and incorporate concepts into SouthWest Transit's marketing plans.
- Create print and broadcast advertising and manage the purchase of media advertising
- Supervise the Community Engagement Coordinator and Marketing Project Manager.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or related field
- 3+ years of marketing experience in a professional setting
- Proficiency in digital marketing such as social media, website development, SEO, etc.
- Experience with Project Management Tools such as Smartsheets, Monday, etc.
- Experience reading data and telling the insights and story behind the data
- Experience in developing compelling product positioning and messaging
- Understanding of audience, demographics, and marketing channels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills and Experience:- Experience as a social media influencer
- Experience leading successful teams
- Ability to influence, lead, and inspire
- Videography and Photography experience
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Work is indoors in a normal office environment. Occasional lifting of thirty pounds or less is required. Requires a high attention to detail or deadlines between 45% and 70% of the time. A typical workday involves about 85% of the time spent sitting and about 50% or more of the time using a keyboard. However, this varies depending on the season. A significant amount of time is spent handling paper and maintaining files.
