Technical Buyer/cad Designer (industrial)

This is not a typical purchasing position. You'll be working closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure parts, components, and projects move efficiently from concept through completion.

If you've worked in manufacturing, machining, or industrial environments and understand both technical drawings and procurement workflows, this is a strong opportunity to step into a more impactful role.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage purchasing and procurement workflows from start to finish
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts/materials
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and 3D models
• Utilize AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks for design review and basic modeling
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure manufacturability and accuracy
• Track orders, timelines, and project status to keep operations moving

What They're Looking For:

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
• Ability to read and understand technical/mechanical drawings
• Experience coordinating with vendors and managing workflows
• Background in machining, fabrication, mining, or heavy industry is a plus
• Engineering or technical degree is preferred, but not required
