Estimator - Structural Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Estimator specializing in custom roof and floor trusses to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution process, ensuring accurate cost estimations and proposals for custom truss solutions. Your expertise will contribute directly to our ability to deliver high-quality trusses that meet our clients' specifications and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom roof and floor trusses based on project blueprints, specifications, and client requirements.
• Conduct thorough material take-offs and analysis to determine the quantities and types of materials needed for each project.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and functionality.
• Create comprehensive proposals and bid packages that outline project scope, pricing, and timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to clarify project requirements and resolve any discrepancies in plans or specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project communications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with specific expertise in custom roof and floor trusses.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in reading construction blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
