Job Description

The GrabFood Marketing team is a dynamic team responsible for driving business growth through Merchant's activity and consumer demand generation. We create impact by developing insightful marketing campaigns and deliver the best execution to the market. You will lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for the #GrabThumbsUp and Only at Grab sub-brands. Your mission is to grow brand awareness nationwide and solidify GrabFood's position as the Top of Mind Food Expert. You will drive growth for high quality and exclusive merchants within your portfolio through high-impact marketing initiatives, leveraging a 360 media including Social Media, Performance Marketing, OOH, Offline Activation and In-App media. Throughout these plans, you will collaborate with Key Accounts and Strategy teams to ensure all efforts align with overarching goals.

To succeed in this role, you must be deeply passionate about the F&B industry, always staying one step ahead of emerging food trends and identifying strategic restaurants to highlight in order to maintain superiority over competitors in our selection pillar. You will be based onsite at our Grab Bangkok Office.

The critical tasks you will perform include:

  • Strategic Branding Ownership: Build sub-brands #GrabThumbsUp and Only at Grab under GrabFood to lead nationwide brand awareness and solidify a "Top of Mind" food expert perception among users through integrated marketing strategies and projects.
  • Driven Merchant Growth: Initiate marketing plans to secure new strategic partners and scale the growth of high-quality, exclusive merchants.
  • Develop Comprehensive Marketing Strategies: Design end-to-end marketing plans that address main challenges, capture deep user insights, and unlock demand through tailor-made proposals and data-backed strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead engagement with multiple partners to identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and take full ownership of marketing projects.
  • Data Accountability: Embrace data-driven decision-making by using advanced analysis tools to prepare insightful reports, evaluate campaign performance, and measure overall success against goals.
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end campaigns by supporting the marketing team from planning through to execution, ensuring a smooth implementation and maximum market impact.
  • Budget Efficiency: Plan, track, and improve all marketing spend to ensure maximum efficiency and return on investment.

Qualifications

What essential skills you will need include:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the marketing field, brand management e.g. consumer marketing, tech marketing with exposure to online and offline media. Experience in business development is a plus.
  • Passion in the F&B industry; from street food to casual café & restaurant to premium food to social sellers; from Bangkok to upcountry markets and being able to identify and spot potential food trends to capture.
  • Strong project management skills, and stakeholder management
  • Initiate and translate concepts into innovative and impactful ideas for campaign execution
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in both written and spoken English.
  • Loves the thrill of being in a fast-paced environment
