Job Description

Grab Mobility is on a mission to provide convenient, reliable and delightful transportation for everyone in Southeast Asia every day. Transport in SEA has evolved from going to your destination in any possible ride to finding a ride that meets your needs at any given point. You will solve complex problem spaces at Grab and some of the largest scale design challenges in the industry, positively shaping the lives of millions.

As part of Grab's Transport Mobility Design team, you will lead Product Design outcomes, craft, and quality within a cross-functional Problem Space Team while influencing adjacent teams across the mobility ecosystem. You'll play a key role in shaping how millions of people move through Southeast Asia, designing seamless, reliable, and intelligent transport experiences.

Working closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, you'll explore deep user needs and translate them into impactful solutions. You'll also leverage AI and emerging technologies to create smarter, more personalised mobility experiences from discovery to booking to the ride itself.

In addition, you will contribute to and help evolve Grab's design system ensuring consistency, scalability, and high-quality user experiences across our mobility products.

You will report to the Senior Design Manager. This role is fully onsite.

The critical tasks you will perform include:

• Own end-to-end Product Design outcomes, ensuring high-quality craft, usability, and consistency across the transport experience
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to define problems, shape solutions, and deliver impactful features
• Apply user research, data, and AI-powered insights to inform design decisions and uncover new opportunities
• Design intuitive, scalable solutions across rider and driver touchpoints within the mobility ecosystem
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, improving consistency, efficiency, and scalability across products
• Influence design strategy and elevate design standards across teams
• Continuously iterate on solutions based on user feedback, experimentation, and performance metrics

Qualifications

• Provide a portfolio of your recent design work in English, showcasing your contribution and the impact of your projects. We recommend you provide clear context, outline your end-to-end workflow, and demonstrate how you go from problem discovery to launch.
• 4+ years of Product Design experience.
• Experience working on cross-functional product teams.
• Solid fundamentals in interaction and visual design craft and practice.
• Solid knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.
• Experience with Figma, Protopie, After Effects, or other design tooling.
• Experience in Service Design, User Research, Front-end Development, Accessible Design or Design Systems.
