Hachette Book Group's summer internship program offers individuals an opportunity to learn about the publishing industry and explore an area of interest. Program dates: June 1st, 2026 – End date: August 6th, 2026. Location: Hybrid (three days per week on-site, fourth day remote or on-site). Company laptop will be provided for the duration of the program. Weekly schedule: 28 hours per week, 9:00am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Pay rate: $17.00/hour.
As the Library & Academic Marketing/Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals and gain hands-on professional experience as you own day-to-day tasks, help with special projects, and attend departmental meetings.
The Library & Academic Marketing Team is based in the New York Office and works a hybrid schedule. We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who is eager to learn about the publishing industry with a focus on connecting with two segments of our customer base. To enhance your work experience, we offer educational sessions featuring speakers from all departments of the company as well as networking and career development opportunities.
