Marketing & Publicity Summer Intern – Little, Brown (Summer 2026)

Little, Brown and Company is seeking a summer intern to support its marketing and publicity teams. This role offers exposure to book marketing campaigns, media outreach, and audience development across a wide range of titles. Program Dates: June 1 — August 6. Weekly schedule: 21-28 hours per week. Location: New York office, with flexibility for hybrid. Pay rate: $17.00/hour. Company laptop will be provided for the duration of the internship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with execution of marketing and publicity campaigns
  • Support social media and influencer outreach initiatives
  • Research media contacts and competitive titles
  • Prepare materials including press releases and marketing assets
  • Track campaign performance and assist with reporting
  • Provide administrative support for events and meetings

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Current student interested in marketing, publicity, or publishing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in books and consumer audiences
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
