Job Description:
The Marketing Program Manager entails planning with key stakeholders (incl. assigned partners) and converting HPE South Pacific sub-regions business priorities into impactful marketing execution plans. Post execution, measuring results and learning from past actions will be a part of this role. The role will impact in the following fashion:
- Increase HPE's revenue and market share through more effective marketing tactics and efficient marketing demand generation executed by HPE and its partners
- Improve Annual Satisfaction Survey scores for key partners in areas of lead generation, channel marketing and joint business planning
- Improve our skills as marketers by building an extended HPE Channel marketing community to share and leverage best practice globally
- Help bring to life HPE's vision and strategy through effective marketing execution
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Partner Marketing Planning, execution and reporting: Helping to administer and manage the ROI of Marketing and Non-Marketing activities for Resellers and Distributors. This includes partner-to and partner-with marketing investments. Planning cycles may vary from quarterly to half-yearly.
- Establish strategic relationship with assigned partners, particularly the marketing teams and C Level executives. Be the main HPE contact person for marketing purposes, keeping partners updated about HPE strategy and plans through quarterly joint marketing planning. Ensure regular marketing training for partners around areas like HPE messaging, campaigns, Marketing assets, HPE guidelines. Maintain a strong posture on controls and ethics.
- Partner Admin and Operations Support: Support performance management, facilitate communication with sales and partners, and manage DF (Discretionary Funding) requests in Salesforce (SFDC) as requested by the business.
- Strategic Partner Support: Scheduling regular review and quarterly business reviews with the sales and marketing representatives from DF Focus Partners. Must be a Marketing SME and promote best practice in execution.
- Field Marketing Activities: Execution of relevant Customer GTM activities for HPE into SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments. These activities can be digital demand generation, HPE led events OR events in collaboration with alliance partners.
- Pipeline targets which will include size, shape and velocity related metrics
- Utilisation metrics for funds deployed for marketing. This will also include mix metrics and distribution of funds by key areas of marketing (Demand Gen, Sales Enablement, Digital Marketing, Events etc.)
- Influencing and collaborating with Alliance partners to maximize ROI and impact from co-marketing and joint marketing
- Timely completion of all mandatory trainings and adherence to HPE guidelines in all planning and execution of marketing programs
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders and partners is vital to achieving these goals.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in any area related to marketing or business
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years of marketing experience in industries related to Cloud Computing, Networking, Data, Security and AI.
- Fluency in English language
- Past work experience should include managing and running both direct as well as co-marketing executions across segments like SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise and Service Providers
- Proven track record in driving marketing metrics across - pipeline generation, channel satisfaction, funds utilisation, martech adoption, AI adoption etc
- Good understanding of channel structures and channel sales dynamics
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
- Experience in developing and driving strong outcome-oriented relationships with partners, especially utilizing DF (Dev Funds) programs
- Excellent written/ oral communications and analytical skills
- Comfortable with hybrid work arrangement which includes a mix of remote, onsite with partners, at events and in HPE premises. Ability to travel for work.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in matrix environments and work effectively within virtual teams. Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and span across a broad portfolio of products and solutions
