Senior Cadworx Piping Design Technician

We are seeking a Senior Cadworx Piping Design Technician with extensive industrial piping experience to develop, review, and coordinate high-quality 3D piping models. This role supports multi-discipline engineering teams while ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to project standards.

Pay: $52.00- $64.00 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage 3D piping designs using Cadworx
• Interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documents
• Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with design standards
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines on project execution
• Support QA/QC processes, model reviews, and design validation
• Contribute to estimating, change management, and technical coordination

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Design Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of industrial piping design experience (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Semiconductor)
• 3+ years of recent Cadworx experience required
• Strong understanding of piping specs, materials, and equipment layout
• Ability to read P&IDs and technical engineering drawings
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field
• Semiconductor or high-tech facility experience
• Knowledge of pipe stress impacts on routing/design
• Experience with QA/QC and model health reviews
• Leadership experience in piping design teams
